| 02/01/2001 | libfame released |
| | libfame 0.1.0 has been released! Check the download page. |
| 01/14/2001 | Moving to a library |
| | I'm currently moving FAME to a stand-alone library under LGPL dealing with video coding only. Capture, file I/O, network I/O, sound support will be moved to sample applications |
| | Fixed a bug in the encoding tables that produced corrupted MPEG files. A new alpha is out. |
| 09/08/2000 | New alpha version |
| After a long break, I've managed to get some time for FAME again :) I've just committed a new alpha version that fixes a bug in the v4l input module and adds support for capture from raw YUV files. |
| 05/31/2000 | FAME 0.1.3 is out |
| Faster GATOS module, faster video module for K6, support for built-in compilation of the modules. Check changes for details. I'm releasing this code prior to adding multithreading support to all modules, which could break things. BTW I'll need feedback on the alphas.
|
| 05/18/2000 | FAME 0.1.2 is out |
| Full modular architecture, bugfixes, file splitting. Check changes for details.
|
| 05/12/2000 | FAME 0.1.1 is out |
| Fixes in input modules, security fixes, better option parsing, RPM/SRPM packaging. Check changes for details.
|
| 05/05/2000 | FAME 0.1.0 is out |
| | You can download it there. This is the very first beta release of FAME. There is an alpha version of the GATOS support in this release for ATI All-in-Wonder users. It requires the latest GATOS CVS snapshot to compile and is quite slow. You can enable it by adding the --enable-input-gatos option to the configure script.
